Silent Revolutions
GWIG is taking part in a traveling exhibition of the best of Slovenian product design. More in a PR text from bellow.

The Silent Revolutions: Contemporary Design in Slovenia exhibition closed its doors on Sunday, 25th of September 2011. The exhibition was on display at the Dray Walk Gallery, Tent London, as part of London Design Festival 2011. The opening was attended by more than 250 guests from Slovenia and abroad, including representatives of government institutions and foreign diplomatic missions in London, designers and architects, representatives of companies, the media, design enthusiasts and representatives of similar design institutions.
The exhibition was well attended with almost 8000 visitors in four days. It received positive response from the visitors and experts with several invitations for presentation and cooperation abroad. Several other events were accompanying the exhibition: in addition to a special preview for invited guests from featured companies, there were guided tours by Slovenian designers, textile workshops Silent Connection and a presentation of Slovenian wines The Power of Creativity and the Joy of Taste. The exhibition was the first event in a series of international presentations of Slovene design and companies with the aim of enhancing the recognisability and competitiveness of Slovenia through industrial design. After its premiere in London, the exhibition will also be on display in Eindhoven as part of Dutch Design Week, the Netherlands (22–30 October 2011), at Slovenian Innovation Forum in Ljubljana, in Milano and Helsinki.
